Yes, DUIs are very common, but still, nothing? Is there some kind of unwritten gag rule for the offspring of powerful dickwads?

I don't know why this is a story. Yes, drunk driving is terrible and anyone who does it should be held to account for it to the full extent of the law. But why is this a story?
You're right. I guess it's not a "story". But 99% of the shit on which the media reports is not a story either, so my question is, just what is the difference? When children of "politicians" screw up it's always somewhat of a story. Yet we know so little about our Supreme Court justices - why are they different?
